How Bazar, 60 S.W. 2nd St. in downtown Gainesville, was a worker-owned, multi-purpose community hub. By day, it was a creative space, clothing store, and incubator, offering apparel and accessories, along with pop-ups from local makers and residencies for artists and entrepreneurs. By night, it was an event venue bringing together Gainesville's community for celebration, education, and culture. Its Bazar À La Carte night market featured handmade goods from local and regional makers, fashion shows, skate jams, high-energy DJ sets, and live performances—providing thousands of creators with a high-reward, low-risk environment to exchange goods and develop their careers, businesses, and concepts. 

Once a year, that work spilled onto the street with an annual block party—a free, publicly accessible celebration where downtown Gainesville comes alive, and thousands gather.
